Pepe Guardiola’s men, without Haaland, were still put under pressure in the first half on the 17th place team’s field, known for their physical style of play. They even conceded the first goal on a great play by Jack Harrison, on a sequence where Manuel Akanji was caught off guard with a poor clearance to Bernardo Silva.
The Swiss player was then cautioned in the 59th minute for a rough tackle, but his team had already leveled the score through a brilliant shot by Phil Foden at the near post.
