But as always, his show “Sous Bracelet” was stopped by orders from Lyon Mayor Grégory Doucet and Prefect Fabienne Buccio, prohibiting him from performing in the Rhône region.
Last August, Dieudonné had last-minute resorted to a field in Décines to welcome around a hundred spectators.
This Thursday, the controversial comedian’s teams claim to have achieved a double victory: overturning the orders in the Lyon administrative court and being able to perform in the capital of Gaul on Thursday in a venue whose name has not been disclosed to our editorial office.
A photo allegedly supporting these claims was even taken and shared on social media. But it is difficult to identify the private venue and therefore verify its location.
When contacted, the Rhône prefecture denied the information that their order had been overturned by the administrative court.
As for whether or not this show by Dieudonné was performed in Lyon, or even in the department, the state services were unable to confirm.
Is this a misinformation campaign by the former partner of Elie Semoun, who was also affected by similar orders in Montpellier and Toulouse this week? Or a game of cat and mouse lost by the prefecture?
