Their tribute to BBC 100 is a Tango to the Doctor Who Theme Tune. My main gripe with this is that Stacey and Kevin did a Doctor Who tango for Halloween Week in 2018, so it feels a bit lazy when you had 100 years of the BBC archive to raid. Why not anything from radio? The theme to The Archers would make a lovely Tango. Pom-te-pom-te-pom-te-pom.

Another reshuffle of the Hunches this week – Hamza’s establishing himself as people’s favourite after last week’s dynamite Salsa, Fleur is definitely back in the running after that fabulous Argentine, and Tony Adams is hanging in there through the sheer power of Katya witchcraft. To add to this evening’s general air of chaos and mayhem, I’ve abandoned my Wiltshire sofa in favour of a weekend with friends in West Sussex. Apparently not. Because instead we have a mishmash of theme tunes, a comedy song, a couple of normal tracks that don’t seem to bear any relation to the show other than the title, and a random ABBA interlude. Ces perruques sont tellement horribles, mais vous ne pouvez pas reprocher à Jayde d’avoir donné ces deux barils. C’est tout à fait dans sa rue, mais toutes les bases du pivot et de Charleston ont largement disparu au profit de la plaisanterie. Divertissant, oui. Charleston? Pas tellement.

Cette semaine, ils font le Charleston sur The Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) de Victoria Wood.
Si vous êtes assez vieux pour vous en souvenir, c’est une brillante chanson comique qui dure cinq minutes et devient plus drôle à chaque couplet. Je ne sais pas exactement comment cela fonctionnera dans un format de deux minutes avec beaucoup d’autres choses en cours. Mais si quelqu’un peut réussir ça, c’est Jayde.
Scores : 7,7,7,8 – un total de 29 pour Ellie et Johannes.
Motsi voulait plus d’action sur la jambe debout, mais elle a adoré. Shirley aimait le cadre d’Ellie et la chimie entre eux. Anton a adoré la tête d’Ellie – elle sera fantastique lorsqu’elle arrivera en finale. Craig a adoré l’ouverture amusante et espérait que cela continuerait, mais ils ont ensuite livré un Tango lobotomisé.
Cette danse commence avec Johannes tombant d’une échelle. OK, je plaisante – à la place, ils font une mauvaise comédie. C’est du pur Drag Race et tout cet épisode de Strictly est complètement déséquilibré.
Un peu piéton, comme le font les tangos dans les gommages sexy – a besoin d’une défibrillation.
Quelqu’un pour Ellie T et Johannes ?
Leur hommage le Bbc est un tango sur le thème Casualty, car c’est le genre de danse où vous pourriez certainement vous tourner la cheville ou subir une blessure béante. Je n’ai pas regardé Casualty depuis des décennies – est-ce même toujours d’actualité ? L’infirmière Charlie a-t-elle toujours l’air sournois ?
Scores : 8,9,9,9 – un total de 35 pour Hamza et Jowita.
Craig a remarqué la perte d’équilibre et ses orteils se sont retournés, mais Hamza est un danseur fantastique. Motsi se sent heureux à l’intérieur chaque fois que Hamza danse – il apporte sa personnalité à la piste de danse. Shirley pensait que Hamza avait l’air simple, mais il y avait un petit vacillement. Anton a adoré la tenue et le cadre immaculé – Hamza est le danseur le plus charmant de tous les temps.
Hamza doit cuisiner dans ce manteau, mais ils ont apporté les ours polaires CGI. C’est un joli Quickstep joyeux et Hamza est JOYEUX à regarder, mais le choix de la musique m’ennuie trop pour en profiter correctement.

Musicalement, cela ressemble à quand vous mettez un service de dîner très spécifique sur votre liste de mariage, mais tante Beeb devient voyou et vous offre des assiettes faites à la main qui ne peuvent pas aller au lave-vaisselle. C’était une belle pensée, mais pas ce que nous voulions réellement.
