During the last summer transfer window, Ousmane Dembélé signed with PSG after spending 6 seasons at FC Barcelona. This transfer has given the French international the opportunity to make his grand return to Rennes, his training club. Naturally, on October 8th, Dembélé had a smile on his face when he returned to the Roazhon Park.

Having returned to Rennes, Ousmane Dembélé was able to do so thanks to his transfer to PSG. In comments given to Rennes’ club media, the former FC Barcelona player confessed: “It’s always a pleasure to come back, I did all my training here. I still have family living here, my friends are here. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time to come back and play at the Roazhon Park.”

“With Barça, it would have been a bit more difficult, but well… I’m happy to come back here, there’s always a great atmosphere,” added Ousmane Dembélé after his return to Rennes.
