Lausanne-Sport has hired two attackers on the same day. After Malian Fousseni Diabaté, the Vaud club announces the arrival of Nigerian Samuel Kalu.
Diabaté comes from Partizan Belgrade. The 27-year-old Malian striker has signed a two-year contract with LS. Trained at Stade Rennais and then at Reims, Fousseni Diabaté has played in Ligue 1, the Premier League with Leicester, and in Turkey before joining the Serbian first division in 2022.
Last season at Partizan, he played 45 matches for a total of 7 goals and 11 assists.
Kalu (26 years old) wore the colors of the English club Watford last season in the second division (9 matches). He also played three and a half seasons at Girondins de Bordeaux as well as at La Gantoise in Belgium.
An international player, Samuel also has 17 caps with Nigeria between 2018 and 2022. He will join Lausanne once all the formalities related to obtaining his visa are completed.
