As part of a special media coverage in Seoul, Samsung announced how it develops the latest versions of its phones based on user demands.

At a special press conference held on the sidelines of the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event in Korea, a senior Samsung executive shared the secrets of the brand’s success in developing foldable phones. He highlighted several key points, with the most crucial being the priority given to ease of download and a comfortable user experience.

Galaxy Flip 5: Lightness without compromise

One of the flagship features of the new Z series is undoubtedly the Galaxy Flip 5. Samsung has focused on the lightness and compactness of this model while preserving its performance. The phone is now thinner and lighter, making it easier to slide into a pocket or small bag. However, this optimization has not compromised the device’s power. Indeed, the internal processor has been improved thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, enhancing multitasking, image processing, and overall performance while extending battery life.

The external screen of the Galaxy Flip 5 now allows access to an extended range of settings and features without having to open the phone. And to meet the growing demand for flexibility, Samsung has developed “Flex Mode,” allowing users to place the phone on any surface without having to hold it.
