Colruyt Group is recalling Boni Selection brand chocolate chip cookies in collaboration with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (AFSCA) on Wednesday due to possible presence of metal particles.
The products in question are packaged in 225-gram packs with a minimum durability date of 13/09/2024. They were marketed in Colruyt, Spar, Avlo, and CoMarkt supermarkets between December 28, 2023 and February 20, 2024. The Okay supermarket chain is also recalling Merba brand “Triple Chocolate Cookies” for the same reason.
The products in question are packaged in 200-gram packs with a minimum durability date of up to 12/12/2024. They were sold in Okay and Okay Compact stores between December 18, 2023 and February 21, 2024.
Customers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume them and to return them to the store, where they will be refunded. In the meantime, the products in question have been removed from the shelves of all relevant stores.
