Proximus brings back the youth channel TMF: exclusively on Pickx starting on October 14th. The whole day will be dedicated to the wildest period of our television history with the VJs of that time, the best Belgian artists, and much more. SILK has designed the launch campaign that will particularly bring a smile to the TMF generation.
Great news! After 25 years of silence (radio), the youth station TMF (i.e. TMF – The Music Factory – is the Flemish sister channel of MTV) is coming back. October 14th will be a true celebration day, because throughout the day, a retrospective look will be given to the #TMFGeneration exclusively on Pickx. It will be a nostalgic day, with VJs and bloopers, thanks to a 13-hour live broadcast (!) from Stadsfeestzaal in Antwerp. You can find the complete program on www.tmf.live. But this event has much more to offer than just nostalgia. It is also a turning point in the world of sustainable live production thanks to the fiber and 5G technology that Proximus Media House (PMH) will use.
SILK has designed a campaign specifically targeted towards the generation that experienced the golden age of TMF up close. From Buffalos to Kelly Rowland, it is a great opportunity to reminisce about this iconic period. To fuel the TMF-mania, Proximus has launched a large media campaign in which some nostalgic songs play the main role. In addition to billboards, the focus has been on digital advertising on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. The radio campaign was created in collaboration with VJs Roos and Jessy Mackenzie, two icons of the TMF era.
