Marshanda was once in the spotlight after uploading a video of herself dancing. At that time, dancing on social media was a rarity.
Even Marshanda was called crazy by internet users because of her upload. She was a victim of bullying because of it.
But nowadays, according to Marshanda, many people dance on social media. They are impressed as usual by the content.
“In 2009, I uploaded a video of me singing while dancing, they said that almost the whole of Indonesia went crazy. But now, the world uploads videos of themselves singing while dancing, and what is it called? TikTok,” Marshanda said on Instagram by re-uploading an old video that had been uploaded on TikTok.
Now, Marshanda wants to upload videos on TikTok more often. She considers herself a trendsetter.
“So, I dedicate my TikTok account, all the videos it contains, to my incredible craziness. Why? Because I want to celebrate myself through my TikTok. Why? Because I never follow the trend, I am the trend,” she explained.
Marshanda has a history of bipolar disorder and until now, she regularly follows therapy and takes medication.
Even so, the artist affectionately called Caca has no worries if her daughter, Sienna, will experience the same thing.
“Thank God, no, I don’t have that worry,” Marshanda said during a recent virtual press conference.
Not wanting to always think negatively, Marshanda has chosen to instill positive things for the sake of her daughter
“I have never thought of going there because I have always hoped for the best for Sienne. I have always thought of the best for Sienne,” Marshanda said.
