In this documentary, David Beckham repeatedly corrected his wife as she described her upbringing as “pretty middle class,” asking her to “be honest.” Finally, after a specific question from her husband, the former Spice Girl admitted that her father used to drive her to school in a Rolls-Royce in the 80s.
This moment had amused the internet, and Victoria Beckham had capitalized on it. She released a t-shirt with the fateful phrase “My dad had a Rolls Royce.”
In the ad teaser, posted by Victoria Beckham on her Instagram account, the reference is strong!
