Titan Quest was initially released in 2006, with an expansion the following year. Due to financial issues with its publisher, the license changed hands in 2014, leading to an Anniversary edition in 2016, which included the game and its expansion, as well as various quality of life improvements. Then came new expansions in 2017, 2019, and 2021, showing both the publisher’s intention to make the most of this acquisition and players’ interest in more content in this universe.
And while until now players had to settle for expansions to a game that is no longer quite up to date, a true sequel is now announced. However, this is only a teaser that plunges us back into the world of Greek mythology from the first installment, and we will have to wait to learn more to form a true opinion about this new title, whose development has been entrusted to a new studio, Grimlore Games, which only has Spellforce 3 to its credit.
