Alberto El Patron Remains Active on the Independent Circuit After AAA Departure
Despite being forced to leave AAA in Mexico, Alberto El Patron remains active in the ring.
It was on June 25th, 2025, at an AAA show that Alberto El Patron lost a match stipulating that if he lost, he would be forced to leave the company. Several weeks have passed and neither WWE nor AAA have commented on the situation. For now, Alberto appears to be gone from the Mexican company.
But what does the future hold for him? Currently,no one has the answer to this question. In the short term, the answer seems to be the independent scene. Since his departure from AAA, Alberto El Patron has completed a match at Panther Promotions and another at AULL, both companies in Mexico. He is also announced for a match for the 52nd anniversary show of the WWC in Puerto Rico, the company owned by Carlito’s family.
In an interview with Mas Lucha last week, Alberto El Patron stated that he still doesn’t know what the future holds and that only time will tell.It will be something to watch in the coming weeks to see if the former WWE wrestler manages to secure a place in a full-time company.
