Signature d’un protocole d’accord entre Sonatrach, Eni et Equinor pour la relance de l’exploration des hydrocarbures en Algérie

The Algerian oil company Sonatrach has signed a protocol agreement with its Italian partner Eni and Norwegian partner Equinor aimed at revitalizing exploration and development activities in the country’s south, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

“Sonatrach and its partners Eni and Equinor have signed a protocol agreement, reflecting the parties’ willingness to strengthen their partnership and expand their cooperation by carrying out a work program to revive exploration, appraisal, and development activities in the In Salah and In Amenas regions, in synergy with existing facilities,” the text said.

Sonatrach and its partners operate the contractual areas of In Salah and In Amenas under association contracts signed respectively on December 23, 1995 and June 29, 1998, according to the same source.
