While analyzing the statistical publications of the health authorities of the United States (VAERS), Europe (EMA), and France (ANSM), Catherine Teilhet, retired from the Paris City Hall, made surprising discoveries. According to a rigorous examination of the official figures, the following cases have reportedly disappeared: 2,827 cases of deafness, 2,282 cases of blindness, 14,969 myocarditis, 11,424 pericarditis, 7,079 thrombosis, 7,295 embolisms, 10,566 amenorrhea, 11,541 dysmenorrhea, 4,241 deaths, etc. She tells the story, with evidence.

Peregrinations in the land of pharmacovigilance data…

In another life, I was a programmer in the IT services of the Paris City Hall for nearly 35 years… On-the-job training, validated by an internal examination, retired since May 2022. Curiosity coupled with a professional bias, the Covid crisis stimulated my neurons:

• Well, no quarantine, just a confinement, maybe to infect the whole family?
• And then the masks, quite a performance, it was a farce, and long live etymology!
• Perhaps the authorities have launched a national test to test the quality of our sense of humor? We must self-authorize ourselves to go out and buy a baguette or walk our furry friends on all fours.
• Are viruses endowed with superior intelligence? They are even capable of adapting their attacks to our positions at the café: standing or sitting, I’m amazed!
• Finally, we must believe and obey the directives that impose us, in case of Covid symptoms, seclusion without medical accompaniment, just with a little box of Doliprane, strange, I found no study that attests that Doliprane + lack of care is a better cure for Covid than the antibiotics usually given to prevent bacterial superinfections… However, double-blind randomized studies are required when epidemiologists, renowned scientists propose an anti-Covid therapy, so why is no justification required when it is asserted that abandoning the patient to his sad fate is the best therapy? A nasty thought comes to me, is it related to the much criticized pension reform, fewer retirees, so less to pay out? Catherine, you’re becoming cynical!

The hunt for numerical information

In short, I went on the hunt for information from ANSM, DREES, INSEE, EMA, VAERS… Today, I choose to present to you my research, carried out from the pharmacovigilance files produced each week by the EMA (European Medicines Agency) and my work tool, PostGreSQL, a relational database manager.

EMA offers us an “ORACLE BI interactive dashboards” interface, decisional computing, Business Intelligence which produces pretty reports, dashboards, in short, actionable information for our decision makers…. But I only started my investigations in the summer of 2021, really, I was very foolish to take so long.

The adverse effects, in August 2021, already showed almost 15,000 deaths, all vaccines, ages, and genders combined. I concentrated on these deaths and, over time, I realized that I was losing some along the way… Furthermore, the generated files were randomly truncated, as shown in the screenshot below, 249,900 maximum recordsbut there was no message, no alert to inform the user of this truncation.

In November 2021, I decided to store the data generated by the EMA locally, so I can keep and trace the information.

I warn the EMA of the disappearances of deaths and the error concerning the exportable volume, their response is that the database is live, subject to corrections, that data is sometimes deleted and recreated under another identifier… IT professionals will appreciate this particular concept of data integrity… Or not.

As for the capacity exceeded, it’s Excel’s fault. Not at all, I don’t use Excel but CSV files, (XML files also show the error), and frankly, the message is clear, the problem is related to the generation and not the recovery of data: “Exceeded configured maximum number of allowed input records. ResultRowLimit(table) OR CubeMaxRecords(Pivot/Chart) needs to be reset in the config file. Please check with your administrator.”

This problem of limited volume to 249,000 recordsis randomly compounded by non-consideration of selection criteria… For example, on November 18, 2023, for Pfizer and its serious AEs (adverse effects), after two consecutive exports in CSV format for the same criteria, I obtain two files with different contents, cf. the screenshot below made via KDiff3, a file comparison tool.

Teasingly, I wanted to wait until the beginning of 2024 to establish a comparative assessment between the EMA data generated in early January 2024 and the concatenation of those I have kept since November 2021… This without forgetting that I probably only stored half of the data made available by starting too late and not importing the files produced by the EMA every week, far from it!

The result is astounding, how to imagine so many corrections, carried out by who, when, why, on what basis?
Have disappeared: 2,827 cases of deafness, 2,282 cases of blindness, 14,969 myocarditis, 11,424 pericarditis, 7,079 thrombosis, 7,295 embolisms, 10,566 amenorrhea, 11,541 dysmenorrhea, 4,241 deaths, etc.

Can we imagine the sick, their relatives, the healthcare professionals wasting their time massively entering nonsense on the AE declaration forms, just to pass the time?
