Les apparitions surprises marquantes du Bye Bye 2023

Louis Morissette, Patsy Gallant, Patrick Huard and the cast of “Chambres en ville” made surprise appearances on Sunday evening in theBye Bye.

Director Simon-Olivier Fecteau and his team left a lot of room for “cameos” this year to support the core cast of actors, including Guylaine Tremblay, Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, Pierre-Yves Roy Desmarais, and Claude Legault.

The conductor of the “Bye Bye” from 2008 to 2013, Louis Morissette, made a comeback in the annual New Year’s Eve show, impersonating Martin Matte for a successful parody of the talk show Matin Matte en direct titled for the sake of the cause Martin Matte en détresse.

Francis Reddy, Patricia Paquin, Anne Dorval, Gilbert Lachance, Gregory Charles, and Vincent Graton returned to Louise DesChâtelets’ boarding house 30 years later in the revival of the television series Chambres en ville. This sketch addressed “renovictions,” the housing shortage, and successive increases in mortgage rates.

Arnaud Soly, Julien Corriveau, and singer Patsy Gallant joined Pierre-Yves Roy Desmarais for a musical number about the REM, while Michel Barrette received a modern rewrite of his anthem Le temps d’une dinde, bringing together Coco Béliveau, Xavier Watso, and Simon Boulerice.
