Anything is possible in Starfield
Since its launch in Early Access, Starfield has been criticized by many players because it does not allow, like No Man’s Sky for example, to travel from one planet to another without going through the “menu” section. Know that this is completely false.
Recently, a streamer set out to leave one planet and travel to another, and she succeeded.
A 7-hour journey
Indeed, it was streamer Alanah Pearce who challenged herself to reach the planet Pluto… And, despite what many players think, it is indeed possible.
When you try to go from one planet to another, it seems simply impossible. The game gives the impression that our spaceship is standing still, and that ultimately, we never get closer to the planets. The reason for this is that the distances are simply immense. To reach the planet Pluto, streamer Alanah Pearce took a total of 7 hours.
You can fly to any planet in #Starfield, it will only take you a few hours.
Here, it took Alanah Pearce 7 hours of gameplay to fly to Pluto.
Unfortunately, when Alanah Pearce arrives on Pluto, the planet does not appear – probably due to a bug – but you can still see that Pluto’s moon has appeared in her field of vision. This proves that she has indeed traveled a long distance in space. However, it is when we see this kind of accomplishment that we understand why Bethesda has implemented a fast travel system. Traveling takes time… A lot of time.
As a reminder, Starfield is already playable in its Early Access version. The game will also be available for everyone on PC and Xbox Series X|S in a few hours via Steam, the Microsoft Store, or the Game Pass. For more information, we invite you to click on this link.
