The 47-year-old Slovenian-Swiss peppers his sketches with shocking remarks, without sparking controversies on the level of those that affected Guillaume Meurice. Portrait of a comedian in the service of his boss’s far-right ideology.

Not holding a grudge, Sonia Mabrouk tried to convince Gaspard Proust to answer our questions. Without success. Gabriel Attal, then Minister Delegate in charge of Public Accounts, found himself at a dinner with the comedian, who was a business banker in Switzerland before taking to the stage. “He talked to me about interest rates and other technical stuff, I felt like I was facing a treasury director.”
