Alors que Paris bat au rythme de la semaine de la mode, J’Adore, the flagship fragrance of Parfums Christian Dior, is exhibited at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris from September 27 to October 8.
This exhibition, open to the public free of charge by reservation, tells the story of the perfume born in 1999, from the love that Christian Dior had for flowers, to the latest version of the scent, L’Or de J’Adore, created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who is also the director of perfume creation at Parfums Christian Dior.
A golden corridor, echoing the golden necklace that adorns the bottle, immerses visitors in the intimacy of couturier Christian Dior, who used to design flower-women. Visitors also discover, among other things, how the amphora-shaped bottle was created, how this fragrance dominated by jasmine and rose is constructed, and the different interpretations by perfumers Calice Becker, François Demachy, and Francis Kurkdjian. The television campaigns signed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino are also part of the journey.
J’Adore is also staged in the digital vision of artist Refik Anadol, who has made a name for himself with his AI-generated digital artworks.
