Departure of Mbappé: PSG makes a big announcement!

Kylian Mbappé has already confirmed his free departure from PSG at the end of the season, and the capital club’s management will therefore have to seriously consider his successor in attack. Luis Enrique has addressed this issue, and the Spanish coach of PSG has reviewed the different options, ensuring that he will have a competitive squad next year, even without Mbappé.
The news has caused a stir in recent days and is fueling discussions about the future of PSG: Kylian Mbappé, who is coming to the end of his contract, has informed the club’s leaders and his teammates that he will not renew and will therefore leave for free at the end of the season. Questioned at a press conference on Thursday, Luis Enrique nevertheless sought to reassure about the future of PSG despite Mbappé’s announced departure.

“With Luis Campos, we talk about the present and the future of the team every day. What I do as a coach is try to make the most of all the players we have. What I always look for is the well-being of the team (…) What is important to me is to have the peace of mind to seek the best solutions for the team at a given time. It is always the present and the immediate future that matter”, indicates the PSG coach before being asked about the different profiles mentioned to replace Kylian Mbappé next season.

“Xavi Simons? We follow the progress of each of our players including Xavi Simons (…) Rafael Leão? Is he a singer? Is this a joke, I know very well who he is. But I cannot discuss a player who is not with us. I hope and I am convinced that we will have a better team next season than this season. In defense, in midfield, and in attack”, clearly states Enrique who therefore promises a very competitive PSG next season, even without Kylian Mbappé. The message is clear.
