Geneva, Switzerland – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi signaled a willingness to reach a swift and equitable agreement with the United States as negotiations are set to resume in Geneva on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

He emphasized Iran’s commitment to peaceful nuclear technology while firmly stating the country has “no intention of ever developing a nuclear weapon.”

The upcoming talks, facilitated by Oman, build on previous indirect discussions held in Geneva last week. Oman has played a key role in mediating between the two nations regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
