COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio students will have expanded access to tuition-free online public education for the 2026-2027 school year, with enrollment now open at Ohio Digital Learning School (ODLS) and Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA). The schools cater to a diverse range of student needs, from credit recovery to full-time virtual learning, and are powered by K12, a national leader in online education.
OHVA serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade, while ODLS focuses on students in grades 9-12 needing alternative learning environments, particularly those seeking to recover credits or requiring a non-traditional educational approach. “These schools offer a valuable option for Ohio families seeking a flexible and personalized learning experience,” said a representative from K12. “We are committed to providing high-quality online education that prepares students for success in college and careers.”
The programs highlight include live, interactive instruction from Ohio-certified teachers, career and college readiness opportunities, advanced coursework, and a range of clubs and activities, including in-person events across the state.
