Despite the forecast of bad weather in some geographical areas of the country, the new edition of Cantine Open, scheduled for this weekend, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May will not be stopped, despite the forecast of bad weather.


The initiative of the Tourism Wine Movement (MTV), dedicated to wine culture and responsible drinking, includes Wine Trekking, Yoga and Pilates routes among the rows, walks with the alpaca, horse excursions, meetings with beekeepers, botanical tours, tree watching and other activities to experience the most suggestive landscapes in the surroundings of the cellars. Alongside the outdoor activities, cultural initiatives with the crafts and manufacturing workshops of the cork, painting courses En Plein Air, ceramic workshops, photographic exhibitions, trades between sculptures and installations that decorate vineyards and numerous performances are scheduled with the presence of artists. Also provided for cooking experiences through lunches and dinners with the Vignaiolo and with menus designed for the occasion of seasonal products and km0.


There are also picnic in the vineyard, tastings of extra virgin igi but also spaces dedicated to food trucks and mixology, to know the wine in a new guise, inside the cocktails, “all to the sound of music with the organization of country-rock concerts, DJ sets and dance lessons”. Expected initiatives dedicated to the little ones such as the treasure hunt among the vineyards, visits to the teaching farms themed workshops to know the wine having fun together with their parents and other children. Some companies will organize visits within the caves, others will offer the possibility of living a Boat Tour while others still a Jeep Safari, to admire the most suggestive views of each territory.
