Terriers septième au classement après la première journée du Red Bandana Invitational

Boston University Women’s Golf Strong Start at Red Bandana Invitational

CANTON, Mass. – The Boston University women’s golf team launched its 2025-26 season monday at the Blue Hill Country Club,competing in the first two rounds of the Red Bandana Invitational.The Terriers currently hold the seventh position in a field of 15 teams.

BU posted an opening round of 319, placing them seventh, and maintained that position with a second-round score of 314.

Juniors Hibiki Adachi and Amy Han are tied for 14th place heading into Tuesday’s final round, both with a total score of 151. Adachi’s second-round 73 tied her collegiate career-low. Han recorded her second eagle as a terrier with a 3 on the par-5 18th hole during the first round.

Senior Annika Manjunath and freshman Wendy Li are currently tied for 58th and 62nd respectively, after the first day of competition. Manjunath carded scores of 84 and 81,totaling 165,while Li finished with 81 and 85 for a total of 166.

Junior Madison Takai initially withdrew due to injury during the first round but returned for the second, posting a score of 85.

The Red bandana Invitational honors the legacy of Welles Crowther, a Boston Collage graduate and former BU hockey player, who perished on 9/11 while helping others escape the World Trade Center. Crowther was known for carrying a red bandana, which became a symbol of his heroism. The tournament serves as a tribute to his courage and selflessness, and supports charitable causes aligned with his values.
