Hezbollah-Israel Clashes Escalate, Displacing Thousands in Lebanon
Beirut, Lebanon – Renewed hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel are rapidly escalating, triggering widespread displacement within Lebanon and raising fears of a broader regional conflict. According to the Lebanese government, nearly 85,000 people have been displaced as a result of the escalating violence, representing roughly 10% of Lebanon’s landmass south of the Litani River, an area Israel is attempting to clear.
