A man who assaulted a 2 -year -old boy arguing that he did it for “capricious” was sentenced to 6 months in conditional prison (without confinement) and also a job was turned to migrations to be analyzed if he must be deported to Bolivia, his native country, judicial sources said.

The convicted subject was identified as Grover Chinaut Barrientos. He was punished for the crime of minor injuries aggravated by the link and in context of gender violence.

The incident occurred on February 25. The complaint was filed before UFI Cavig by the child’s mother, who explained that at about 13 that day he reached his home in Cañada Honda, Sarmiento, and observed that his 2 -year -old son was crying.

At that time, he said, the son of the denounced approached, a 10 -year -old boy, who told her that when she was not, the denounced Grover Chinaut Barrientos had hit her son in her tail with a leather belt, without a buckle, dark brown.

The woman said that the defendant was just then and that she asked him why he had hit the child, to which he answered that he was a capricious child. At that time they began to argue and the complainant with the same belt began to hit the now convicted, who snatched his belt from his hands and began to hit her, stopping when realizing that the woman had the baby in her arms.

Then the denounced retired from the home with her children to the house of a friend from where she called 911.
