‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 4 Set for Late 2026, Potential Final Season Looms
TORONTO – Production has wrapped on the fourth season of the popular Netflix drama “Ginny & Georgia,” with a likely release window between late 2026 and early 2027, according to sources. The series, a blend of teen drama and darker themes, has garnered significant viewership since its debut on February 24, 2021, captivating audiences with its complex characters and storylines.
Season 3 concluded with a significant plot point – Ginny’s discovery of her pregnancy – leaving fans eager for the next installment. Netflix announced the renewal for both seasons 3 and 4 together following the success of season 2 in 2023.
Filming for season 4 took over five months, beginning in Toronto, Canada on September 29, 2025, and concluding in the first week of March 2026. The production utilized various locations around Toronto, including areas representing the fictional town of Wellsbury.
While an official release date remains unconfirmed, the show is currently in post-production. The series has proven to be a hit for the streaming giant, with season 1 attracting over 52 million viewers within 28 days of its release. Season 2 quickly climbed the Netflix Top 10 TV chart, and season 3 debuted as the platform’s No. 1 series, drawing 17.6 million viewers.
The cast will see the return of series leads Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller and Antonia Gentry as Ginny Miller, alongside Diesel La Torraca (Austin Miller), Felix Mallard (Marcus Baker), Sara Waisglass (Maxine Baker), Scott Porter (Mayor Paul Randolph), and Raymond Ablack (Joe). New additions to the cast include Sunny Mabrey (Daisy), Ali Skovbye (Rainn), and Kataem O’Connor (Isaiah).
However, speculation is growing that season 4 may be the series’ last. Actress Sara Waisglass, who plays Maxine Baker, posted a message on social media hinting at a conclusion, writing, “That’s a wrap wrap wrap! Love this cast. Love this crew. Max, I will miss you. Ginny and Georgia Season 4 is on its way people.”
Despite this, Netflix has not officially confirmed the show’s conclusion, leaving fans with a glimmer of hope for a potential fifth season.
