Hibbs also suggests a potential link between the collapse of Islam and the rise of the Antichrist, arguing that Islam’s doctrine of global dominance clashes with the Antichrist’s ambition for sole rule. Interestingly, he points to reports during the Trump administration and the pandemic of a significant increase in Bible downloads and Christian material within Iran, suggesting a growing Christian presence within the country.

He claims Iranian attacks are aimed at creating a catalyst for the return of their Islamic “messiah,” the Mahdi, viewing even losses as steps toward this goal.
