LR senators plead for a tax-free premium of 1,000 euros

Proposal. The idea was endorsed Wednesday ministers of the Economy and Public Accounts, Bruno Mayor and Gerald Darmanin.
How to restore purchasing power to the French? Jean-François Rapin, Senator of the Pas-de-Calais, has his idea. As reported by BFMTV this Saturday, December 8, he and other senators Hauts-de-France have tabled a bill to create a bonus "incentive and performance" for employees, the amount could reach 1 000 euros.
"A new hand extended to the government"
The idea was already carried by the president of Hauts-de-France, Xavier Bertrand. This would be, according to the title of the text, creating a bonus "free of social contributions and tax", up to a total annual amount of 1,000 euros. An initiative for which the Prime Minister, Édouard Philippe, but also the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, and the Public Accounts, Gérald Darmanin, have given their approval.
"As the Prime Minister has announced, we hope that this proposal is unanimously voted for the French quickly regain purchasing power," says the first signatory of the bill, Jean-François Rapin, elected in the Pas -de-Calais. "After the senatorial proposal to freeze fuel tax rates, it is a new hand extended to the government to respond concretely and effectively to the problem of purchasing power," adds Cédric Perrin, Senator of the Territoire de Belfort, in a communicated. He also invited the "executive to put this text as soon as possible on the agenda of Parliament".
